A man was shot dead in front of a Queens bodega shortly after midnight Wednesday morning, police say.
The victim, a 39-year-old man, was shot in the face and was unconscious as emergency crews arrived on 162nd Street in Flushing, according to the NYPD.
He was pronounced dead a short time later at the scene, cops said.
It was not immediately clear what led to the shooting and the investigation is ongoing.
There is no description of a suspect.
