The city is honoring those who served in times of war with parades throughout the five boroughs. The following streets will be closed:
MANHATTAN
Inwood Memorial Day Parade (Monday, 12 p.m.- 1 p.m.): Dyckman Street and Broadway
Soldiers' and Sailors' Memorial Day Observance (Monday, 10 a.m.): Riverside Drive and 89th Street
QUEENS
Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade (Monday, 2 p.m. to 5 pm): Jayson Avenue and Northern Boulevard
Maspeth Memorial Day Parade (Sunday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.): Grand Avenue between 72nd Street and Maspeth Avenue
BROOKLYN
150th Kings County Memorial Day Parade (Monday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.): 78th Street and Third Avenue
Allied Veteran's Memorial Day Parade (Monday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.): Myrtle Avenue between 70th Street and Cornelia Street
BRONX
City Island Memorial Day Parade (Monday, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.): City Island Avenue
STATEN ISLAND
99th annual Forest Avenue Memorial Day Parade (11:30 a.m.): Forest Avenue between Hart Boulevard and Jewett Avenue
