A man with trauma to the head was found dead inside a burned home in the Bronx Wednesday night, officials say.
The call was made around 11:30 p.m. for the blaze on Gleason Avenue in Uniondale, police said. They say a 45-year-old man was found dead in the kitchen once firefighters made it inside.
Officials said the man was unconscious and had a head injury.
The fire started inside a bedroom, authorities said.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
It was not immediately clear how the blaze started.
