A "track condtion" outside Amtrak's East River Tunnels is cusing delays and cancellations into Penn Station during the peak of Thursday morning's commute.
Some trains are being diverted to Hunterspoint Avenue or Atlantic Terminal.
Commuters should prepare for delays and allow for extra ravel time.
NYC Transit is honoring LIRR tickets on the E subway at at Jamaica (Sutphin Blvd-Archer Avenue), Kew Gardens (Union Turnpike and Forest Hills 71st Avenue at Atlantic Terminal on the 2 and 3 subway and on the 7 subway at Woodside 61st Street and Hunterspoint Avenue.
Amtrak said personnel are on the scene.
