Police are seeking a man in connection with shooting two men while inside a car in the Bronx, authorities said.
On Saturday after 4 a.m., a 23-year-old man and a 24-year-old man along with the attacker were inside a blue SUV on Commonwealth Avenue, police said. The attacker who was sitting in the backseat, pulled out a gun and shot the 23-year-old man in the back of the head, police said. He then shot the other victim in the mouth and left shoulder before fleeing the car, police said.
The shooter and victims apparently knew each other, but it is unknown to what extent, police said.
The victims were taken to Jacobi Hospital, where the 23-year-old man is in critical condition and the other is stable, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
