A 4-year-old child fell out of a window in Queens on Saturday afternoon, police said.
Video showed the child's grandfather holding her limp body outside after the fall in Woodhaven. He attempted to give her mouth-to-mouth.
Firefighters laid her body on the hood of a car before she was put into an ambulance. She was taken to Jamaica Hospital.
She was conscious, police said, but her condition wasn't known.
Her parents were home at the time, police said.
The weather was warm and muggy on Saturday with highs in the low 80s.
