The body of a 51-year-old man was found Sunday in his burning garage in Queens, police said.
The detached garage on Edgewood Avenue in Rosedale was engulfed in flames, police said.
When firefighters put out the fire, they discovered the body of Douglas Reid, who was unresponsive and covered in burns, police said.
He was pronounced dead at Franklin General Hospital, police said.
The fire marshal will determine how the fire began. The investigation is ongoing.
