Four people were shot in Jersey City Sunday evening, authorities said.
Police say multiple people were shot on Wilkinson Avenue.
The street reopened after being blocked off for hours.
Witnesses say several kids took off running after sounds of gunfire were mixed with fireworks, and two children may have been among those shot.
It is unclear what led up to the shooting, and the investigation is ongoing.
