Cops are looking for a man they say used a church bathroom, then started acting wildly, smashing a potted plant and a St. Jude statue before running off.
Police say the man walked into St. Francis of Assisi-St. Blaise Parish on Nostrand Avenue in Brooklyn shortly before 9 a.m. on a Saturday morning earlier this month and used the restroom. When he came out, he started acting wildly and smashed a plant on the floor. Then he knocked over the statue, which shattered.
The man ran off down Nostrand Avenue. Police released surveillance video of him walking down the street. Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-577-TIPS.
