A Long Island mall was evacuated after a fire broke out, officials said.
Police got a call reporting a fire at Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City just before 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nassau County police said.
The entire mall was evacuated as firefighters responded, the Westbury Fire Department said.
The fire broke out on the southwest side of the mall, according to police.
