A New York City cab driver was robbed last week in Queens by a suspect who took out a knife and demanded his money, according to the NYPD.
On March 24, at around 5 p.m. the tax driver picked up a man on the corner of Queens Boulevard and 71 Street and was told to drive to 101 Street where another man hopped into the cab, police said.
That is when the second man pulled out a knife, pressed it against the cab driver’s stomach and demanded his money, authorities said.
The driver handed over the money and the two suspects got out of the taxi and left the area, according to officials.
Police Friday morning released a photo of the second suspect, above, in hopes of catching him and getting him off the streets.
