The Trader Joe's fandom in the tri-state area keeps growing, as the supermarket chain announced plans to open a slew of new stores across New York City and New Jersey.
The company says it will be opening locations in Soho, at 161 Avenue of the Americas, near Spring Street, and on the Upper West Side, at 670 Columbus Ave., near 93rd Street.
A Brooklyn location will be also be opening at City Point, at 445 Gold St.
In New Jersey, Hoboken will be getting its own Trader Joe's at 1350 Willow Ave.
It's not yet clear when in 2017 the supermarkets are opening, though the Manhattan locations won't open until later in the year, the company says.
Meanwhile, another supermarket chain with its own fan base has announced plans to open three new stores in New York and New Jersey: upstate favorite Wegmans is coming to Hanover, Montvale and Brooklyn in 2017 and 2018.
