A series of issues -- from signal problems to FDNY activity to investigations -- caused headaches for subway and Metro-North riders Thursday.
An investigation at Saratoga Avenue forced a total suspension of the 3 line between New Lots Avenue and Crown Heights-Utica Avenue before 8 a.m. Customers were advised to use the B14 bus.
Separately, FDNY activity at 72nd Street caused delays on northbound B, C and D trains.
The commute wasn't much better for Metro-North riders -- police activity near Harlem-125th Street was causing delays on the Hudson and New Haven lines. Signal problems in Stamford compounded delays on the latter.
